What is ESIC?
ESI (Employee State Insurance) is a government-backed social security scheme managed by the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. It provides medical and financial benefits to employees.
Employers and employees contribute monthly towards the ESI fund, ensuring protection during sickness, maternity, disability, or employment injury.
